Frequently Asked Questions

What does "responsibly sourced" mean?

We work with our farmers and suppliers to make sure all of our ingredients are sustainably sourced, organically produced and humanely harvested. We do our part – to both get the best premium ingredients, but also to make sure those who work with us are cared for as well.

Why does B-fit use filtered water?

B-fit uses reverse osmosis water technology, a technology used to remove any contaminant molecules. The system works by eliminating molecular compounds of sizes smaller than water. The process can be compared to squeezing out what is good and throwing undesired residue away. There are thousands of compounds that can make water unhealthy for human and animal consumption. These compounds include iron, lead and manganese among others. Reverse osmosis has been found to be the most effective purification method that can rid the water of these molecular compounds.

What’s the big deal with naturally occurring electrolytes?

B-fit is the world’s first organic plant-based hydration beverage, and that means it’s brimming with naturally occurring electrolytes – nature’s way of rejuvenating and refreshing your body without any artificial preservatives, artificial sweeteners, or artificial colours.

Why does B-fit taste so good if it doesn’t contain any artificial sweeteners?

B-fit is sweetened with certified organic Agave Nectar and a hint of certified genuine organic Manuka Honey from New Zealand. There is no artificial sugar added in B-fit and B-fit does not use artificial sweeteners like erythritol or aspartame.

What does Certified Organic mean? Why does B-fit use organic ingredients?

Certification is the process used to ensure that organic products meet the requirements according to the Canadian Organic Standards, regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The use of the organic logo is only permitted on products that have an organic content that is greater than or equal to 95% and have been certified according to the requirements of the Canada Organic Regime overseen by CFIA. Certified organic products like B-fit cannot contain antibiotics, hormones, genetic engineering, radiation, or synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Without labeling, there is no guarantee of these practices.

Does B-fit need to be refrigerated? How should I store B-fit?

B-fit is best served cold and should be refrigerated after opening. B-fit does not need to be refrigerated prior to opening, but we think it’s best served chilled.

Why do I need to "shake it up”?

Our products come from real fruits, botanicals, and natural sweeteners. As with many organic products, natural settling occurs, and we don’t want you to miss a single drop of flavour.

Are your plastic bottles BPA free?

All B-fit bottles are 100% BPA free. Our bottles are recyclable. Please help this effort by removing the label and recycling the bottle separately.
